Abstract

This research dealt with an important topic entitled (Zakat in Judaism and Islam - a comparative study -) and aims to introduce zakat in Judaism and Islam, compare them, and point out the similarities and differences. In it, the researcher took the inductive, descriptive, and analytical method by collecting the texts of the Torah that mention the nature of zakat in the Jewish religion. And what is currently in practice among the Jews, and an explanation of the nature of zakat in the Islamic religion, and the research concluded that zakat in Judaism does not derive its legitimacy from the Holy Bible, but rather it differs from time to time, and the matter of zakat among them is still subject to change, then zakat in Judaism is different from zakat in Islam.

   All of this was discussed in detail in an introduction and two sections, then a conclusion, recommendations, and indexes. God is the Grantor of success.
